another story of my past loves, more of a poem really.

Little Flame

By M.O.

When we met you were like the stars to my eyes,

So bright and handsome.

You seemed to will me closer with one look,

And I could only helplessly oblige.

We danced around each other under the moon,

And in the sunlight.

Never anything as serious as stone,

we were a painting that veered from its own canvas.

How we loved to chase each other like wild animals,

Or sit and talk about anything or nothing.

We were simply a blazing fire set to a large forest,

But all fires burn out.

How I miss you, my little flame.
