A short poem written a while ago.

White As Snow

by marfach

The brilliant red Of the shining fruit Dimmed and darkened. It changed and melted To the darkest night.

The dark spread through me - Corrupted me - Changed the snowy joy To terror and fear.

And when my body - My soul - Couldn’t take the destruction Any longer, I shut down.

My eyes closed. I fell, And I slept -

And the apple rolled Out of my open palm.

Not exactly the twisted part of Snow White but still vividly descriptive! Great poem!
