One Chance, That's it.
My life honestly sucks. I've been dreaming for years and years to write a song and perform in front of the world. Like that's ever going to happen! My mother named me Bella.
She has always told me "Bella your beautiful, your voice is beautiful, the world will take shape and you'll have your chance.
" I believed that for years but 19 years of waiting for the world to take shape and nothing has happened. Only if you count that stupid BEST FLUTE PLAYING award in grade 2.
Today was going to be a good day I thought. The air was fresh, the sun was bright, and the sky was clear. Nothing great happened to me but nothing bad either.
As I was walking home I saw two men arguing at the back door of some night club. "You have to perform!" The muscular man yelled. "No way! I quit!" The skinnier man, walked away into a large van.
I walked pass the muscular man and caught a glimpse of who he was. Danny Wills. He was one of the biggest producers in San Francisco! I stopped walking and walked up to him.
"Mister wills, Hi, hello!" I fumbled. "Who are you?" he asked rudely. "Do you need a performer?" I asked. 'I sing, I play instruments, my name is Bella!" I say confidently.
"Sing hmm let me hear." He taps his feet impatiently. I started to sing, my voice stronger and more confident than usual. I stopped.
"Your really good but you don't look like you have any money?"he says staring me up and down. Mr.Wills only helped rich teens to become famous. "Uh- yes, I am I just need to disguise!" I lie.
"Fine, hurry." I walk into the club and I changed a dress they gave me and I performed, like I was a star.
Everyone chanted "Bella! Bella!" But it all came to an end, when after the performance Mr. Wills wanted to see my house. I couldn't lie for longer and told him the truth.
"I'm not rich, Mr.Wills. I'm average. Just a normal teen." I say. He frowns. "Then, leave and never come back. You have talent but you need to pay me to be able to afford any type of fame.
I come home to my mom. I sigh. she knows that something was up and then she looked at me.'Honey, your beautiful, your voice is beautiful, the world will take shape, you'll get a chance."Mom says with a smile. "Thanks mom. I'm going to rest in my room for a bit.
" I got to my room and grab my phone. I hope I didn't go viral. I look at the web. The top story was "Unknown Beautiful Voice Fired on first day on stage". How humiliating.
One day, just one day of fame is all I need to share my passion with the world. Danny Wills will see that not just rich kids can be famous but the average people who actually have talent can be too.
I'll prove you and the world. Just one more...I need another 15-more-minutes-of-fame.
