The bloom’s nectar will feed the hummingbird and butterfly.
The sticky pollen stows away on the bee’s feet as it flies.

Rise

A newborn sprout breaks out of its dormant enclosure

Steadily pushing through, following nature's call for exposure.

The brilliant green miracle reaches for the sky

Unveiling its true form, splitting from its tie.

The sun warms its tiny leaves, granting them the power to grow

Its roots extend deep, anchoring its body to the earth below.

Its form progresses, its leaves generate veins

It continues to flourish, growing more arms and legs.

When the tiny bud starts to show its face.

There's another emergence about to take place.

Vibrant splashes of color, or a fragrant scent,

will attract the garden's creatures for who it was meant.

The bloom's nectar will feed the hummingbird and butterfly.

The sticky pollen stows away on the bee's feet as it flies.

As with all creation, its life is finite.

The blossoms will wilt, their hues, less bright.

As the petals fall, and the seeds float away,

They'll embark on their journey to rise another day.
