Maybe there be a part 3?

•It’s Illegal?• (Part 2)

I woke up in a concrete cell.

Typical.

The first thing I noticed was the fact that there were no doors. Just a five-by-six barred area far above us.

The first thing I noticed was the fact that there were no doors. Just a five-by-six barred area far above us. The second thing I noticed was Livia huddled next to me. If we weren't in jail I would have found it cute.

I wanted to get up, but she was shivering, so I decided to stay where I was.

I wanted to get up, but she was shivering, so I decided to stay where I was. I screamed, "What the heck?!" for no random reason. But nobody seemed to notice in this block of stone.

Liv was asleep.

She woke up what I think was a few hours later. At that point, she was hugging my like a pillow or something.

She woke up what I think was a few hours later. At that point, she was hugging my like a pillow or something. When her eyes shot open, the first thing she saw was me, and quickly latched off. The second thing she saw was this god-forsaken cell.

"Bree, why are we in a block of concrete?" She asked. It was more of a rhetorical question, because she knew the answer.

We didn't hear the footsteps.

We didn't hear the footsteps. Then a random door swung open.

We didn't hear the footsteps. Then a random door swung open. "What do you want from us now?!" Liv yelled.

We didn't hear the footsteps. Then a random door swung open. "What do you want from us now?!" Liv yelled. "Liv," I hissed.

"We're taking you somewhere special," the guard explained nonchalantly.

"We're taking you somewhere special," the guard explained nonchalantly. "Uh huh," Liv said, narrowing her eyes.

He grabbed us with ease by the arms, and dragged us all the way to a lab, I'm guessing.

He grabbed us with ease by the arms, and dragged us all the way to a lab, I'm guessing. "You gonna blind us to death?" Liv asked.

He grabbed us with ease by the arms, and dragged us all the way to a lab, I'm guessing. "You gonna blind us to death?" Liv asked. "Better. We're testing things on you!" A guy in a lab coat said.

"Like what?"

"How about our first bio tubes, which are supposed to keep a human body from rotting. And these serums that send waves to your brain, telling it that it is feeling extreme pain all over.

"How about our first bio tubes, which are supposed to keep a human body from rotting. And these serums that send waves to your brain, telling it that it is feeling extreme pain all over. "So torture potions," Liv cut in. Lab coat guy looked taken aback.

"They're not potions! They're serums. We also are testing a new kind of experiment for you women. How would you like an arena where you fight to the death while us men get to watch you suffer?"

"They're not potions! They're serums. We also are testing a new kind of experiment for you women. How would you like an arena where you fight to the death while us men get to watch you suffer?" "Do we have any say in this?" I crossed my arms.

"No! That's what's great about it!"

"No! That's what's great about it!" He was basically putting us in a Hunger Games situation.

"No! That's what's great about it!" He was basically putting us in a Hunger Games situation. "These people are such bigots," Liv whispered.

"Where do we start..." the lab coat guy said half-consciously.

"Where do we start..." the lab coat guy said half-consciously. "How about giving us a break and a bed to sleep in?" I suggested.

"Where do we start..." the lab coat guy said half-consciously. "How about giving us a break and a bed to sleep in?" I suggested. "You didn't like the concrete floor?"

Idiot.

I was about to strangle him when a soldier walked into the room. "You are your girlfriend can leave. I'll show you where to go."

Excuse me?

"We're just- um- she's not my girlfriend," I said, trying to be polite. Liv looked about as awkward as I felt.

"We're just- um- she's not my girlfriend," I said, trying to be polite. Liv looked about as awkward as I felt. "Just follow me." He grabbed our wrists and dragged us to a different cell. It actually had a door.

But everything smelled different.

But everything smelled different. Like... burnt meat?

I carefully touched the wall. The heat rose up my arm, and I leaped back. "Everything is burning," I whispered.

I carefully touched the wall. The heat rose up my arm, and I leaped back. "Everything is burning," I whispered. "Enjoy!" The guard strutted away, locking the door.

So this was my life now.

So this was my life now. I was about to give up when Liv pilled something out of her pocket.

"I have an idea."
