It's not right,
or bright,
but night,
and twillight.

Ungrabful past

What's mine is missing,

What's yours is wishing,

What's hers is gone,

What's his is hope.

But, softly and lightly,

Mindly and kindly,

Blindly and sightly,

Clearly and tightly.

Stones falling through me,

Quickly emptying me,

Like the stones I can see,

Falling through the sea.

It's not right,

or bright,

but night,

and twillight.

It's vicious,

suspicious,

inglorious,

victorious.

Until the sea is helpless,

without the rain hopeless,

made for shortness,

and doomed lifeless.

The hope staying,

The light glaring,

The evening falling,

The night is crawling.
