When you read poetry,
it should first, crouch in your soul
then alight on the tongue
as tender as a prayer.
When you read poetry,
it should live within you
to sit and dwell upon,
lighting corners of your mind.
When you read poetry,
it should sing in it's own voices
a chorus to itself
giving way to great chasms of silence.
When you read poetry,
it will exist within the walls of your soul.
But also push your mind, outwards
expanding it's dimensions by the tip of your tongue
