-A very childish summary of the book.

Rebecca is a story about a young unnamed woman, whose life does a 180 and she finds herself married to a rich bunghole, with a holier-than-though personality, when in reality, he is the epitome of an obnoxious prick.

But as always, our miss goody two-shoes is deceived by the rich scumbag into marrying him because he is lonely, guilt-ridden, and impulsive (surprise! Surprise!).

Nonetheless, our young heroine perseveres through, surmounting all obstacles while taking charge of her life for once, winning all hearts (except one) along the way.

She’s probably the only one in the mansion and it’s vicinity, who is sane (besides the dog, of course).

In the end, Manderley(the mansion) is a raging inferno; the real cuntess, the house-keeper, commits suicide, and poor, old Maxim, the self-proclaimed victim, loses his sight.

In my opinion, the heroine should have left Maxy for the sweet lawyer/friend of his.
