If I could describe my life in a word, It would be overwhelming. At times it has flooded me with pride, As others it has left me drowning; Drowning in an ocean In which I cannot swim, Where I encounter many lifeguards, Who fail to bring me in.
How does one overwhelm Overwhelming in it’s self; Will it ever be possible to see awards as just trophies And stress as just pain we impose on ourself ?
Conversely, to be overwhelmed by happiness and love Are phenomena’s one can’t explain. But when we see a new born baby Or someone walk off a plane
