Summer Heart

by lunawinx

Her Heart was summer

and she danced barefoot everywhere as if the patterns of sand would imprint themselves on her feet

swirls made of constellations

tiny specks of matter too small to tell, light shifting on the face of the water.

She danced barefoot everywhere

its easier to feel the world that way she said.

her feet were calloused with marks of the earth

stained with the sea

and she danced barefoot everywhere

expecting the world to understand

That was a poem clothed in beauty. This dancing sprite about whom you write must be an embodiment of pure joy. That is the impression your words conveyed to me. Your poetic technique was lyrical and mellifluous. Your word choice described your subject with great empathy. great job.
