Unfortunately Unorthodox

by LunaGrimm

It's extremely unorthodox my Dear, unfortunately unorthodox.

That every time you slash your wrists, you tell someone else not to, and help them to stop. Yet, deny yourself from help.

It's extremely unorthodox my Dear, unfortunately unorthodox.

That on the nights you lie awake, in agony, drowning in liquor, you tell me to get some rest and that the nightmares will stop. Yet, you don't let me stay awake with you.

It's extremely unorthodox my Dear, unfortunately unorthodox.

That you hang yourself by the throat, and struggle to breathe. Yet, resuscitate others and give them breath, but deny to be resuscitated yourself.

It's extremely unorthodox my Dear, unfortunately unorthodox.

That you love the stars and galaxies above, and wish to travel them in death. Yet, you don't let anyone travel the one's you have in your soul right now.

It's extremely unorthodox my Dear, unfortunately unorthodox.

That every night, you are awake with bloodshot eyes, you slash your wrists.

That every night you are haunted by your demons and nightmares you drown yourself in shots of liquor and silent screams.

That every night you are struggling to breathe because you keep failing to hang yourself by the throat and snap your neck.

That you truly believe space is beautiful only through death because you'd rather get lost in the stars above than lose yourself in the stars of someone's soul. Or see the stars in your soul.

It is, EXTREMELY unorthodox my Dear.

Unfortunately unorthodox.

I am lost for words. This beautiful moribund poem was intensely painful and horrifying, I could not take my eyes away from the mayhem in print. Great poem!!!!!!
