I thought I might as well share my sonnet I wrote today for class.

Seven Hours

I don't know how to feel in this moment?

Typing away for message to be read,

These emotions are my opponent,

Anger subsides making room for greed.

Desperation in Helvetica,

A wooden box would be sent overseas

If only I was a replica,

Postal destination to calm her needs,

Do I dare to look at the passage of time?

Tick tock Tick tock I hate my internal clock,

Maybe God is giving me a damn sign,

No power parting the seas to talk.

Only ability I have is weep,

Dots linger on my screen waiting for beep.
