My internet friendship

by lostangel

I have a friendship, That many say isn't real, We're best friends, But a secret they will reveal

But they won't just yet, They will when I see them next, Its been so long since we met, Something we do a lot of, is text

You see, we haven't met face-to-face, But we know each other very well, They're in another place, One day, I hope to hear my doorbell

We're internet friends, And we'll stay that way, We've been through so many bends, I know they'll stay

The fact that you managed to bend all of those words to make them rhyme and make sense, AND flow is AMAZING! I struggle with poetry and poetry about love is even worse!!!! I am absolutely in awe at the talent you have!

This was a wonderful, charming, clever, uplifting, and mellifluous offering. I loved it. You were able to deliver that message while staying within the confines of formal poetry. Great job!!!!!
