Are you who you think you are? It's a question common to everyone, and some will experience this question a lot, others, not so much.
Here's what to look out for when you find yourself asking this question.
Does this thought persist? If so, address it properly, no sweeping it under the rug business!
Do your actions mimic your words? It's okay to say something, and not live by it, but to do it every day, all the time, that's a no-no.
It's called cognitive dissonance and curbing these uncomfortable feelings is the first step to eliminating this question.
Are you portraying a persona? If your outside self, or who you pretend to be to others, is not who you are to a certain degree on the inside, then you will always have this question popping up. It's okay to pretend, but don't make it an everyday task.
To conclude with, it's perfectly normal to have this thought, but overall, it's not as deep of a question to answer as one might think. From Lilly.
