Dark surrounded Prince Daniel, how was he going to get out of this mess? He looked around, waving his torch to force back the shadows.
A glimmer of light appeared above him, a red moon rested above. “No…” He looked up at the fiery moon, no mercy shone from its light. He knelt hard unto his knees.
His golden curls were pale red in the light, the dark and shadows crept nearer.
“Back! I am you’re prince, stay!” Staggering, he made it onto his feet, carrying his torch in one hand and his sword in the other.
“I said stay back!” He heard the creatures of the night growling all around him. “I, Prince Daniel Mornson, order you to stay and go back to your forests.”
“Who are you to order the Night, Mornson?” Boomed a tall, fiery demon. His eyes and skin were as black as charcoal, his tattered clothes were covered in flames.
Daniel dropped his sword in shock.
“Fueren, you were banished from this realm by order of my father. Leave, now.”
“And take orders from a child? Never.” The red moon went higher into the sky, casting its faint red glow over Daniel’s brown eyes. Fueren laughed as he saw the anger growing on Daniel’s face.
“Stay away from me.”
“How about... No. TAKE HIM! I WANT HIM DEAD BEFORE DAWN.” He yelled to make his orders heard all around.
“No! Please…” His torch dropped and the moon disappeared.
