There once lived a daughter and her mom in Herndon, VA. They were loyal and trusted one another, but most of all they loved one another.
One day the daughter was away at work when she got a phone call from the hospital.
She was confused as it turns out she did not know what happened, but she knew it had to do something with her mom for she was the only one that she had in the world.
She arrived at the hospital and was torn apart by the news she heard, she was told that her mom was stabbed to death by a man who is arrested,
they told her they tried everything but they can't do anything for her.
She was told later on her neighbor came to give her mom something and found the door open, the neighbor knew that her mom never leaves the door open,
so when they went to check out what was going on, they saw her mom in a pool of blood, unconscious.
They told her that she must say goodbye to her mom, as she heard this story her face got red, and she started to weep.
She wept until she got to the room where her mom was and when she saw her she fell to the floor and started weeping even harder, screaming.
The nurses tried to comfort her but she told them to not touch her and wept even more. She finally got up said goodbye to her mom, who was at the edge of death.
She spent the night with her and at around midnight her mom passed away, the girl got out of control. It took a whole team to calm her down, but even so, she still wept harder and harder.
The next day was funeral, people gathered around to say goodbye to the woman, and the daughter cried so hard.
After that day life didn't matter to her, she hated everyone especially the person who killed her mom. The guy was supposed to appear in front of the court to be sentenced.
Before she left her house to go to the courthouse, she saw this paper laying on the floor, she picked it up and read it, it was one of those lessons her mom used to give her when she was a kid,
this one read forgiveness, it read, we must learn to forgive everyone no matter what. She stared at the paper for a few more moments and made up her mind, she was going to forgive.
Controlling herself from weeping, she went in her car and drove away. When she arrived there the court began its job, the killer was asked if he pleads guilty and he said he is.
When they asked her she said I forgive him for the crime that he committed, and turning to him she added I forgive you, but I advise you learn from your mistakes, she said this while sobbing.
The people there were stunned, even the murderer. He replied I don't need to be forgiven, but she said everybody needs to be forgiven.
As she said this the murderer cried, she cried, the people gathered there cried.
so, the daughter and the murderer hugged and he was sentenced to twelve years in prison, but he knew that he was going to make it.
So, just as the daughter learned the lesson, you too, learn to forgive even if it a big thing.
