In my opinion, it is better to see color than to ignore it. This poem is a brief thought on that idea.

I Don’t See Color

By KR Wonder

The world—it's smothered

The world—it’s smothered in dull luster;

The world—it’s smothered in dull luster; It's black and white and

The world—it’s smothered in dull luster; It's black and white and lacking wonder.

I look beyond the

I look beyond the gray exterior,

I look beyond the gray exterior, but it don't matter;

I look beyond the gray exterior, but it don't matter; I don't see color.

Are we living

Are we living individuals

Are we living individuals Or have we all fought

Are we living individuals Or have we all fought pointless battles?

The world—it crumbles;

The world—it crumbles; the people shatter.

The world—it crumbles; the people shatter. But I don't hear it;

The world—it crumbles; the people shatter. But I don't hear it; I don't see color.

The two colors blend;

The two colors blend; why's it a hassle?

The two colors blend; why's it a hassle? Then I am caught in

The two colors blend; why's it a hassle? Then I am caught in the middle of the thunder.

But this ain't my world;

But this ain't my world; I can't dive that shallow.

But this ain't my world; I can't dive that shallow. But what's it matter?

But this ain't my world; I can't dive that shallow. But what's it matter? No one sees color.
