Reality of the world

by kkiva5

What is this place?

What kind of world do we live in?

Have you ever took a moment to look around you?

To see what's going on?

Sometimes I wish I was a Martian living on Mars

It hurts to see children deprived, mothers crying,

fathers dying; of the overload of work

Have you ever felt pity, remorse or guilt?

Or are you carrying a heart of steel?

Well, let me tell you steel can melt

You just need to find the right flame

This ain't a one-man stand

I can't do this alone

Help me

Help them

Make a difference

I like how at the end you reached out and straight out asked. Not only does the story imply it but you stress it at the end. Very well done!
