My hands in his

Standing in the pouring rain

Lips crashed together

For a final good-bye

Foreheads touching,

He took his hand and pressed it to my beating heart

He held me in a tight embrace

With me wishing he'd never let go

But atlas, just like that

The only man I ever loved, was gone; faster than the wind

It wasn't long after

That my soul left

The same way he did

This was poignant and tragically sad, leaving so many questions unanswered. You did a wonderful job writing this . It was finely crafted to get you from innocence to tragedy. great job!!!!!
