Goodbyes You pulled up to my house late that night Both hadn't slept We were tired and could barely talk. But you approached my door Heart heavy in your chest. As I opened it You collapsed in my arms We both let go of the tension inside.
Goodbyes
You pulled up to my house late that night
Both hadn't slept
We were tired and could barely talk.
But you approached my door
Heart heavy in your chest.
As I opened it
You collapsed in my arms
We both let go of the tension inside.

Goodbyes

Goodbyes You pulled up to my house late that night Both hadn't slept We were tired and could barely talk. But you approached my door Heart heavy in your chest. As I opened it You collapsed in my arms We both let go of the tension inside.

Flooding the room with tears We'd sit there for half an hour very least In silence Just holding on dreading those words to come As you stood up slowly my heart would stop. I love you More than anyone I ever had before And the hardest part was saying goodbye

After holding you so dear to my heart. That night we walked out of each other lives Neither having a say I still miss you to this day.
