Are we, are you, at the precipice?

Precipice

A concrete foundation crumbling as a hairline crack emerges The tides forever rise and fall as the vigilant shore endures Reeds dancing in the untamed wind frolic in rapid changing light

Relics speak to an ancient past at once revered and buried deep Patiently devoted vessels conscripted standing sentinels Sacred texts long set adrift by restless unleashed stewards

At the edge of this precipice this boundless, timeless expanse What became of these fine gifts unyielding secrets duty bound Once revealed without regard might the horizon offer solace
