A day in the life of anxiety. What it's like to excessively worry.

Worry

Sweaty palms, shaking legs, armpit stains,

Hyperventilating

Weary woes worm and

Wriggle, hysterical giggles

Escape as bubbles of

Anxiety

Avoiding downcast gazes,

Condescending

Judging

Degrading

Confiscating

Any semblance of

Normalcy

Devoid of empathy

Assumptions and

Accusations of an

Inflated ego

I don't think they are all staring

At me

Because I'm pretty

But

Because something

is on my face

Or my hair,

Or heaven forbid,

My make up

Is smeared

Or out of place

Eyes burrowing into

My soul

Telling me

You

Are out of place.
