Inspired by the book, The Perks of Being a Wallflower by Stephen Chovbsky

Questions

Little flashes of

What used to be,

Stirring the memories

That layer the bottom

Of the barrel

Before the decison

That made the

Incision

On the

Impenetrable

Shield that once

Enveloped

Her heart

Questions

Peppering her

Wounds

Stinging

Like salt in

A papercut

Unanswered echoes

deteriorating

Her will

To keep on

Keeping on

But who knew

It would be

This brutal

Finding the answers

Never as satisfying

As the answer

She craves, she needs,

Patience

With this world

And all it's

Misery

Nothing is what

It should be

What its meant to be

It's not what

It's all cracked up to be

It's harder for

Those who know

We give the

Love we want in return,

But the tragedy

Is

We only accept

The love we

Think we deserve.
