My path is shining. because of you. I love you all.

My Lights

I know it has been a hot minute! School has been going extremely well, work is kickin', and I am genuinely happy.

I wanted to express my gratitude and love for each and every one of you. I passed 5,000 followers a couple weeks ago and this is my 100th post. And today is Thanksgiving.

I don't really believe in holidays being the only time you show your love for someone, but I know that today, (despite it being turkey day for the US), I want to dedicate this to you.

So, enjoy ^.^ <3

For years, I fortified my being.

For years, I fortified my being. For weeks, I refused to speak.

For years, I fortified my being. For weeks, I refused to speak. For minutes, I remained motionless.

The slurs of unkindness

The slurs of unkindness Strung together by ignorance,

The slurs of unkindness Strung together by ignorance, Suppressed the caress of love.

My mind was suspended in a pitch black,

My mind was suspended in a pitch black, struggling to find a will to fight back.

Until .

Until . .

Until . . .

Until . . . A small flame kindled.

Suddenly, a row of candle appeared. I spun around and around, unlit wicks lighting for the first time.

Suddenly, a row of candle appeared. I spun around and around, unlit wicks lighting for the first time.

It was beautiful.

It was beautiful. Gone was the pressuring blackness.

It was beautiful. Gone was the pressuring blackness. And in it's place, a glow of warmth.

Continuously growing and replenishing. Never losing it's blaze.

The love from all of you, is deafening and smoldering.

Thank you.
