Kuroo x Reader [24 hours]

The kiss was magical.

The kiss was magical. You felt a whole colony of butterflies in your belly fluttering their wings. The fireworks made the moment felt surreal. It was happening. Kuroo's soft lips on top of yours. The taste of your vanilla lipgloss mixed with the taste of mint.

You promptly remember Kuroo opening a gum a while ago. You couldn't keep count of how long you were kissing. It seems time stood still. The surrounding was blurry.

You promptly remember Kuroo opening a gum a while ago. You couldn't keep count of how long you were kissing. It seems time stood still. The surrounding was blurry. The noise died down, considering you were in an arcade. Nothing seems to matter at that moment.

Only you

Only you and him.

Only you and him. But as you pulled out for a breath, time begin to move again. It never stopped in the first place after all. As the clock turns twelve in the midnight, Kuroo gasped.

"No," you whispered under your breath.

"No," you whispered under your breath. You have a mixture of worry and fear as Kuroo zoned out with a far-off look.

You were silently hoping, screaming in your mind, pleading that Kuroo's memories would stay. The twenty four hours of you being together. Everything you did together, everything he did for you, could possibly go to waste. And you were begging he would never forget.

But then Kuroo blinked and looked at you. With his questioning stare, you already knew Kuroo has forgotten.

But then Kuroo blinked and looked at you. With his questioning stare, you already knew Kuroo has forgotten. Although it still hurts, hearing the guy you love say those words for probably the hundredth time.

"Who

"Who are

"Who are you?"

It still hurts that his memories only last for twenty-four goddamn hours.
