We are living independent mysteries, none of us know where the other is from and it is in this consciousness that individuality is drawn and our talents birthed.
Our talents being expressions of these individualities. This explains the awe our heart feels in the presence, in the subconscious acknowledgment of anothers talent.
We feel mystified in its presence: a solution to one of life great mysteries.
Imagine what makes talent so magical, it's ability to dissolve the world you thought you knew in one single act, shatter those barriers that our consciousness thought it got right.
We rejoice in its very existence to the hope that we'll find that little adjustment too.
John Locke proposed that man comes into this world 'Tabula Rasa', a clean slate. I often disagree to this concept but I'm willing to give it a try here.
We come into this world blank, fresh and ready to learn, not aware of its form, on experiencing our first trauma we build cages around our mind with restrictions,
as more trauma is incurred our mind continues to evolve to build more restriction to block future trauma.
I solved it not by myself but can feel another solve it, and I am pleased.
This cycle continues till our mind is full of barriers, when we see these talents in others we go: Oh I never knew that was possible.
If we walk it back we can say talent is just us moving passed a psychological wall and the more walls we move pass through the more talent we acquire.
Would that mean we could get all talents, if we try really hard we could dribble like Messi.
Well Yes and No!
Yes because if we came into this world at full efficiency, stayed at full efficiency for infinite time,
then maybe in one unit of time you could solve the mystery of the exact type of foot movement required to be Messi in the process of discovering others and No because we neither come
in full efficiency and stay in full efficiency nor do we live forever.
Our consciousness finds talent, the talents our mystery to solve in the framework of mind, consciousness being a member of the class mind,
it connects with other consciousness in solving it parts of the mystery but only with its joy.
A sad framework to watch it must be, steady churning out consciousness, consciousness with the ability to solve a finite amount of mysteries in the world, some solve a hundred, some solve 10,
some none and a lot even came back with none.
I beg to wonder if this is why Jesus used talents to describe the Kingdom of God.
