a poem about the warmth of the faded summer days that were simpler than they are today

Summer

by kara shaw

hazy summer afternoon foggy skies of orange hues

grey clouds fade the sun's warm glow are you there now? i don't know

i am real, human i can feel it in the soil beneath my feet we are cosmogyral beings sunlight illuminates our lives, so be

feel the luster soft on your skin let it heal let it in

take a breathe calm your lungs taste the atmosphere on your tongue

you see, the world is a gift let loose all your seems with grace, embrace your life as a dream.

This was exquisitely beautiful. Your command of English is remarkable. The verse structure was daring and it worked. I loved this poem. Great post!!!
