Letting go is hard🖤

Gray days

They watch her in sorrow, it appears as if she doesn’t have enough life for tomorrow.

Bleak is the sky. Silver clouds begin to cry.

Flowers are starting to grow. She’s beginning to let go.

Outside baby birds fly from the nest. Inside all she wants to do is rest.

On her ashen face she manages a small smile, Tells them they’ll see her in a little while.

It was too late to pray. Her ocean blue eyes fade to gray.
