Like bubbles

by joyouscellyjc

We were like bubbles, Light and afloat

Rowing on life's waters, In our own boat

We were like due, Soft and calm,

Like roses with no thorns to cause harm

We weren't like the midnight train but like the morning sun

We weren't like the heavy rains

But like the few drops that shone

Who says love destroys?

And that miracles don't have a voice?

Who says love can't be like the bubbles or the due or roses

Love is not a lot of things

But it is beautiful
