It takes a lot of strength to embrace one's weakness. To feel one's hopes crumbling in the distance,
to see the road disappear untraveled.
It Is a visceral process to admit defeat and surrender.
To be relegated to those who could but didn’t, those who follow.
To feel broken and leashed.
Tamed and hungry.
Dismayed and angry.
It takes true courage to keep the head down with the ears clear.
The thought level and the plan is in the right place.
Developed trust is needed to seed the faith.
And pride is vestigial.
Take the punch with a soft cheek as there is no shame in the fall, true disgrace lies on the floor.
but keep your head down with your mind open... the seed has been planted.
