You were a flower blossoming in winter.
You blanketed me love when I shivered.
You kept me warm all day long.
But this was not to last for long.
You were sun, I was snow.
You gave me warmth, I'd rather be cold.
You still tried to keep a hold.
But I was winter, and that you knew.
Home was where the cold air blew.
What I felt was not for show.
But what we had were flowers in snow.
