Alice in a poem

Today, the wonders of the inside night

Flew her away as she thought about the sees-all beast.

She was elevated and descended in an old-as-time cycle,

Floating throught the memories of the past day,

Forging them into the walls of her mind,

Building them a home.

Sudenly, the sun was shining bright,

Sudenly, the sun was shining bright, Everything she looked at was vacant, pale, white.

Her eyes habituated and a water wall extended before her, from west to east,

Her eyes habituated and a water wall extended before her, from west to east, With every blink of the eyes, increased.

Unknowingly, she slid down fast as a motorcycle,

Unknowingly, she slid down fast as a motorcycle, Standing up, on what seemed to be the ground, her old friend, Michael.

Dacing around them, alive sand in some sort of play,

Dacing around them, alive sand in some sort of play, A knight, a beast, a cyclope. All of them smiling, feeling so very gay.

(She could swear they had no knowledge of any other emotion.)

Out of some cotton-like fog came a being, oh so kind,

Out of some cotton-like fog came a being, oh so kind, Terribly unaware of personal boundaries, it peeked into her mind

No matter how hard it tryed, and try it did, she was an impenetrable dome,

No matter how hard it tryed, and try it did, she was an impenetrable dome, Inside, gazing at the world, she sat peacefuly in her shielded throne.

Realising the girl could not be conquered,

The being synchronyzed the playful sand to its own beat

Reaching into the million year old corners of its wisdom

A small sparkle came throught its eyes busrting into a calming lavender shine

Finaly, standing tall and sure, it prophesied a novel song

It reads as follows or so they all thought

Walk, run if possible, don't let yourselves be cornered,

Walk, run if possible, don't let yourselves be cornered, But if you do, always remember to be kind while fighting for your honour.

No kingdom, fame or infinity will make you complete

No kingdom, fame or infinity will make you complete Oh, if you can only find something pink or blue, soft or creasp, and always sweet.

Pray, if you ever get caught by jealous hunters and throughn into a cruelty filled prison

Pray, if you ever get caught by jealous hunters and throughn into a cruelty filled prison You must remember all the different ways, even in captivity, that can bring you freedom.

We are curious, creative and unique by design,

We are curious, creative and unique by design, This doesn't mean you are a work of mysticism, of the universe, or of the divine.

(My friends, everything came from an explosion!)

Being human is being broken, having defaults, and sometimes being wrong

Being human is being broken, having defaults, and sometimes being wrong The people that love us will pay no attention to what we lack, they keep us standing strong.

And when our lives have passed and our time is sumed up to naught,

And when our lives have passed and our time is sumed up to naught, Remember you are more than the sum of your parts:

You are love!

You are pain!

You are art!

And this, I believe, is Alice in a poem.

'Who is Alice?' you may be asking.

Alice is a dream, a safe place for lost souls living with nothing but the company of their agony,

She tears down walls, builds up bridges and holds your hands when they are shaking.

Alice is flying through a thousand adventures we wish we could live

Maybe we will be lucky enough to ear the legendary stories that are coming from them.
