Description: “Love is the primal feeling and emotion that exist outside of time. Time moves around us, but Love takes us backward and forward. It transcends in all aspects of the human condition, and the evidence is clear, it’s what holds the fabric of space&time.” --Doctor Murphy Connor, NASA

-Transcendence”

No one could have predicted the rift when we reached beyond the 4th dimension. Captain Hullet readied the S.S Strata for the last-ditch attempt to save humanity.

"Hey, Major, take this, it will reduce the tachyon exposure."

"Hey, Major, take this, it will reduce the tachyon exposure." "What if I want to turn to dust after this is over?" Hullet glared, scorning my lightheartedness towards the mission.

"Are you sure this will work, Major?"

"Are you sure this will work, Major?" "Yes, Connor's calculation was never wrong. It will work, it has to work."

We reached the Lagrange point between the anomaly and the rift, discharging the time-flux capacitor.

"Major! It's working, it's working!"

"Major! It's working, it's working!" "It's not over yet, Hullet."

The rift spewed a rainbow of tachyon radicals light-years across.

The rift spewed a rainbow of tachyon radicals light-years across. "What's wrong, Major? What's happening!?"

The gravity pulled us as darkness enveloped the rift. Doc's words echoed in my mind as I grabbed Hullet.

"The Doc was right! Take this and go, they will need the data!"

"The Doc was right! Take this and go, they will need the data!" "Wait, I am coming with you?" I jostled Hullet to the Strata, thrusting me towards the rift.

"Major, No!"

The darkness engulfed me as my body glowed, becoming part of the light.

The trumpets rained as the shots fired into the distance, and we held a memorial for our finest.

"He did it, but what expense Colonel?"

"He did it, but at what expense Colonel?" "At no expense, Captain, he is still with us; his love is part of us of all now."

I intentionally left two film easter eggs in this story. If you like sci-fi it'll be an easy find. Let me know in the comments what they are. As always thank you for reading, and if you enjoy my work dont forget to like, shout, or follow. 🙏😊💕 -All Best, Jerez
