"I am glad you are home, I've missed you so," she grinned

Their hearts fragile, and vulnerable, bringing them closer. He basked in her words while relishing all that she was.

"I am never leaving again." he said with conviction in his eyes, believing beyond the uncertainty of job.

The sunlight inched thought curtains, peeping in their delight. She laid on his chest, sleeping to lullabies of his heart made.

His warmth wrapped around her,
