A silly poem about a silly girl who dremt of chocolate kisses.

Chocolate Kisses

by jenkinsx2831

I dreamt of kisses, a chocolate wonder.

I dreamt of the wrappers of so many colors.

So many types.

So many flavours.

I wanted them all, that chocolate joy.

I woke that morning to a doorbell sound.

I went to answer and found a parcel.

I opened the box hoping for my chocolate dream.

But instead I found a sweatshirt, big and red saying I LOVE YOU.

And a cardboard box with chocolates in it. None of which were my chocolate kisses.

Beautiful use of irony. I loved it. The words painted a wonderful graphic image of chocolate kisses. Great story!!!
