Let it out it whispers, Let it see the sun,

Imprisoned Child

Let it out it whispers,

Let it see the sun,

Let it out for it is stuck,

and alone it now cries.

In darkness now it lies,

Alone it writhes

The knocks sounding dense,

Like wild hail.

Let it out it begs you,

And leave it be it screams,

its voice sounding broken,

all is still but its tears.

And once and twice it pleaded

All it awaits for is an exit,

but darkness stands relentless

and the door sealed.

Let it out it begs you,

Let it out for it is scared

Its breath is short, its knees are weak

Yet nobody cares for it.
