There is a beckoning call Reckoning ones fall

Tongues tussle

There is a beckoning call

Reckoning ones fall

Tongues tussle and brawl

Should the heart return

Or will hatred burn

The tinder is the past

The spark every breath

Alas two hearts put to the test.

Wandering together with smiles

Yet underneath is two souls that rile

Bodies seem to never touch

Yet in the life so tough they are one another's crutch

And neither ask for much

Neither creep untoward

Neither die by the sword

The arguments subside

The passion remains alive

Yet how much further must they strive

Before the end of endless night.

Thanks for reading. Hope it hits a chord with someone other than me. Keep reading and writing Commaful. Peace and love xox
