The Critics of Peace {Letters of Unity}

Do not call me idealistic or a utopian dreaming fool for dreaming of a peace that reigns and rules.

For in my fractious life duels and discontenting rhetoric has fuelled many a battle with my fellow being.

Yet it does not squander my open heart and I can still foresee a better future for everybody.

The squabbles on the street have no attrition on the beat of the drums of war.

Perspective is given in the sounds of bombs and bullets that roar.

Why should this be in store for the next generation.

When we heed the annunciation of the veterans of the past.

We can be left in utter flabbergast.

And seek to build a peace that lasts.

This is no easy task. This I know.

But when you call me a utopian dreamer it has a heavy blow.

Not upon my persevering spirit. Nor my hunger for peace.

But upon the validity of you and all your empirics and I would waste my time on you the least.

To call a person who hungers for peace a utopian dreaming fool makes you the beast!

And in your heart, I beg of thee have perspective leased.

All it takes for evil to prevail is for one good being to say or do nothing.

If we all call for peace then surely it will begin.

And in our swathes, we can grow.

So that all the world may no peace is not an idealistic dream.

It's simply something that we must deem...

Possible!
