Fatimah Baraghani was her birth name.
In the Baha I faith she has notoriety and fame.
The first woman to have the message of the Bab attained.
She was educated in a time and place where patriarchy was ingrained.
In Iran there was a dominance of men that reigned.
From speaking of the equality of peoples she never refrained.
The grand unified message she exalted, and ideas were exchanged.
She was an adept theologian, poet and Feminist sage.
As, well as challenging the way Persian clergy had society arranged
She spoke of a message that unified all peoples and how our perception was constrained.
She eventually for taking her veil off in defiance at the conference of Badasht was enchained.
She was eventually executed after she was detained.
As a martyr for the faith and feminism she was ordained.
From then her theological influence on the religion has never waned.
Indeed, the impact of her martyrdom for both religion and feminism should in history be sustained.
So please remember her given name by her prophet that she adored after she was able to challenge the status-quo without fear.
