From the beginning of time. Conjecture in the sublime.

One Society - A Poem from 5 years ago

From the beginning of time.

Conjecture in the sublime.

Resonant altruism hides.

Society rises when empathy applies.

From Egypt to Rome the fall and rise

Philosophy of self and the other in reprise

Though community shelters in guise

When one thinks of the day they have.

Society constructs everything we have.

For the fellow people we should be glad

Though respect of the other is a passing fad.

How many farmers had

Bakers and drivers have created your daily meal.

How many appeals made so you could have a shorter working day.

Trade unions fall in record numbers day by day.

We forget that once we forced to work eternally.

Mortal lives; slaves Working from walking to the grave.

We should be brave, and retain the rights.

The strain of work will worsen day and night.

If we forget the sights of the working mass’.

Those of the past before the existence of the middle class’.

Will we surrender to hypocrisy

Even with the absence of meritocracy.

Does the loss of another's job have a cost to me

The economy is integrated we see.

We are integrated to society. The Piety.

Without the Train Driver.

The Banker cannot arrive there.

Without the cattle farmer everyone could starve there.

Without sanitation workers.

Without Medical Doctors.

This is no quirk

We are reliant on society at work
