Oh Prodigal Friend from the Ends - Free Style poem

In my town like everyone's

Cliques and the concept of cool can't be outrun.

Not cool cause I couldn't hit a home run.

But the thing was we still always had fun.

Yet one day.

Seeking the attention of the lady that did stun.

My friend went and was gone.

No longer spending time at my side.

No one to go with on a bike ride.

Loneliness just wouldn't subside.

Then one day his new friends mocked him so much he wished he could have died.

And he realised what is wise.

We both had to let go of our pride.

Emotions were overrun

As we had a one to one.

Cause there is no use having bitterness in the Long run

Eventually forgiveness won.

And our friendship once again begun.
