In the midst of the night I'm betwixed with peace and fright. A poem about walking alone in the night and/or having nightmares that make you awake frozen in fear

Night Tremor

In the midst of the night I'm betwixed with peace and fright.

Subtle melodies of the nocturnal. Make fear kernel.

Yet the moonlight glistens.

Yet the moonlight glistens. So, I see and listen.

In the night I have clairvoyance. Misguided by a glance.

Yet courage is reiterated by all my senses

As, I know that the darkness hides no unusual pretences.

The hidden secrets are all the same as the day. Even if the sunlight is dimmer in of which they play.

Until the sun rises and simmers on the horizon. I keep my eye fixed upon the obscure.

Until daylight offers its serene cure. To the night terrors.
