In the begging was a star Bustling with energy so bright to be seen from a far.

In the beginning there was stardust

In the beginning was a star

Bustling with energy so bright to be seen from a far.

The universe so empty and then with bang

Life as we know it began.

The planet was formed from molten rock.

That same rock still hot.

A meteor the size of the moon crashed on through.

With it scientist say it brought water too.

Now at its side was a moon to be full

To make dreamers dream and life less dull

The planet began to cool and form.

Terrain and rivers and mountains tall.

The single cell organism began to split

Life as we know it began its dynamic shift

From asexual reproduction to what we have now

The union of love and procreation took its first bow

Creatures began to swim in the ocean

Then creatures innovated the notion

To walk on the land Dinosaurs and all that damn

Slowly but surely then came the human

To walk under the stars and to bend the earth to its will

A fraction of time we have walked but look what we have achieved still

We are able to voyage the world on the web

Starvation is less common than it was in the time of the lord and the pleb

There is so much to say on this voyage of life

Intelligent design does it seem right.

Why would it not take a long time

For something divine to make life

I believe in god and 5000 or 7billion years both are oright

The important object of attention

Is that life is created regardless of what faith you mention

We are all formed from this rock

And beyond that we are of stardust stock.
