Why do you falter in my sight? Why do you forget you are the end to endless night. Everyone feels the raw emotion of sadness sometimes. Gotta to keep on walking!

Heat Stroke - Free form

Why do you falter in my sight?

Why do you forget you are the end to endless night.

Look at the man you have made.

Without human kindness into the abyss I would hath fade.

So, some people act as though they are a shade.

And this life a desert.

My skin, my soul scathed, as the heat takes its toll.

Serenity the ultimate goal.

Or so we are told.

As I wade bare foot the sand burns at my sole.

I stop for sustenance at the cacti.

The truth I cannot deny.

Is that in the dizzied haze and heat I could die.

Yet there in the eye.

Is the oasis

Does my mind defy

Is it a mirage?

Have we together walked too far?

Is it a mirage?

Or is it simply

All dried up.

This concept we call Human Love.

As, I meander through the sand.

I remember when we were hand in hand.

Dizzied eyes on the horizon.

Weakness embodied.

In my body.

Now I feel feint.

As, for me it's too late.

Civilisation too far.

Body worn thin soul scarred.

As, I face the vultures above with no fear.

And the last drops of water in my body drop as tears.

I hope that someone in the distance hears.

Hope that someone helps and nears.

As the snake leers.

And now I realise my soul has deserted my mortal frame.

As the last sand grain falls.
