Discovering Beauty

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder

Something we learn as we grow older.

If, you already have this in your mind.

Then your leaving the others leagues behind.

The beauty is the intrigue we find.

The tantalising and scintillating aspects.

It allows us to see past others and our own defects.

Certainly no one is perfect

But in the eye of the beholder they can be darn close.

So much so that you can't wait for the next dose.

And as you grow closer you begin to unearth and expose the inner being.

And the beauty in the eye is beholden and you are truly seeing the person before you.

Be that in a mirror a shadow or in your presence.

For beauty is in essence; a collection of individual qualities.

What makes someone special is not their outward appearance.

It's the ability to see past disagreements and join as one.

It's not about if your hair is curly, straight or in a bun.

Its your ability to relax with one another and have fun.

When the weight of the world weighs down your smile.

Its that ability for your cheeks to rile and rise.

Your ability to forgive and not despise.

What is your view of beauty please dispute me!

So next time you look in the mirror say "ugly I am not.

One day if, not now in someones eye I will be begot. And besotted.

There is an eye that will behold me for the beauty I am

And will weigh my good character gram for gram.

For beauty is in the eye of the beholder."

So be bolder...

And

And Love

And love thyself.
