As, the cold wind calms Without the chill, I remember my qualms
[Sorry for this focus writing has always been an outlet for me, my apologies if its hard to read] ~if it helps one person through the process its worth it

Bereaved of a girl

As, the cold wind calms

Without the chill, I remember my qualms

Palms nestled against each other

Thinking calmly of another

Destitute without the connection

Happy memories are upon reflection

There is nothing much to be said other than a unique girl

Respect, fortitude and transience in a world that whirls

A unique girl who respected all

A sterling girl who respected and heard the poets call

All felt welcome in her home

It was a sanctuary for the broken a safe zone

That girl died so young but lived so much

That girl was my shoulder and my crutch

And as such I have to dot her in my pages

So that through my ages;

I can reflect like I did in the absence of the cold wind.
