Familiar Fog

I bathe in your depth/your elegance, the crushing/weight of enormous

Troubles and trials/pass over my head like a/storm over the ocean.

Base thoughts, ancient and/arcane, like Coelocanths, play/across consciousness.

Like a velvety/night sky, you surround my brain/dampening synapse

After synapse with/your tendrils outstretched, and your/familiar fog

Spreading lightning bolts/like cumulonimbus clouds/across my psyche.

You're my enemy/yet I relish your touch and/calming void of thoughts.

You ruin my life/yet when you come around I/relax my tension.

I hate you, but I/can't seem to get rid of you./Momentary truce?

Ok
