He walked to my house one day and said he needed to talk to me. Butterflies immediately filled my stomach. Dylan Connolly actually wanted to talk to me.
He was standing outside my house, outside my bedroom window waiting for my reply. " yes" I finally managed. I could feel my face turning red . I turned my eyes to the ground.
I ran outside, my long auburn waves flowing out behind me. I arrived around the front of the house to find the gorgeous boy waiting for me.
He flicked his deep brown hair out of his face, letting his emerald eyes shine through. As soon as he saw me a smile spread across his face, making me smile too.
Dylan, the most popular boy in school, was actually exited to see me. My heart started doing somersaults.
" come on" he beamed, grabbing my hand and pulling me along behind him to his motorbike. He handed me a helmet and I put it on without a word.
As we zoomed along the road I couldn't help but ask, " Dylan, where are we going?" He just laughed and sped up a little.
We finally arrived at a little jetti, I got off the bike and handed him the helmet. " are you going to murder me?" I ask. Picking up the tone of worry in my voice, he laughed and shook his head.
He took my hand again, sparks shooting through my body at the touch. I feel my cheeks burning. He led me down to the jetti and looked at me.
" Selena, ive liked you since the moment I met you. I don't know why I haven't told you until now........
You are smart and funny, and you are beautiful too. I would really love you to be my girlfriend if that's ok"
A smile instantly spreads across my face. I have been dreaming about this moment the day my crush started.
Over and over in my head, planning this scenario. And the way it happened was more perfect than I ever could have imagined.
I take a step closer to him, my face merely inches away from his, a smile spreads across his face.
"Yes Dylan, I would love to be your girlfriend" I whisper.
He leans in closer, and presses his lips against mine. Gentle at first, but the second time, more confident.
His lips taste like vanilla. I kiss him back. And we stand there, kissing as though we had been dating for years.
He pulls away and smiles at me. Then sits down and gestures for me to do the same.
I sit down next to him, and he leans over and kisses me again, softer, but somehow more meaningful.
We lay there watching the lake, and kissing in the sunset.
Dylan Connolly is my boyfriend. He kissed me........
HE KISSED ME. AND I LOVED IT.
