Lyrical guidance. This is lyrical guidance not a lyrical attack

Lyrical guidance

Lyrical guidance.

This is lyrical guidance not a lyrical attack

I'm just offering a mirror to see the knives that taunt your back

A temporary Sheild against those words that cut so deep

A better understanding of the fears that haunt your sleep.

It seems we see our favourite stars and think that's how we should be

What I'm.about is what we're all failing to see

How each and every one of us is individually unique

Who you consider freaks I consider family

What you see as defects I see as individual personality

Where you see underlying issues I see hidden virtues

When you say that girls a slut I say our yourself in her shoes

When you talk about how that guys a fake

I ask what's behind the image he is trying to create.

This is lyrical guidance not a lyrical attack

I'm just offering a mirror to see the knives that taunt your back

A temporary Sheild against those words that cut so deep

A better understanding of the fears that haunt your sleep.

When you see that tramp with no house, job or wife

I see a faded echo of an extraordinary life

While you complain about no money, luck or fame

I'm begging for the reason that we are not all treated the same

While you change yourself for others to see

I'm shaping the mould to become a better me

Where you see an end

I see the beginning of a story

Where you see the same old shit

I wonder who's walked this path before me

Where you see the gloomy depths of our most depraved communities

I see misguided souls desperate for opportunities

How you see this world may be different to how I do

But if you connect to these thoughts

Then please let my words guide you

This is lyrical guidance not a lyrical attack

I'm just offering a mirror to see the knives that taunt your back

A temporary Sheild against those words that cut so deep

A better understanding of the fears that haunt your sleep.

If there's something you have

That makes you feel proud

Don't keep.it to yourself

I beg you scream it out loud

Be proud of yourself and everything you've done

Don't worry if you've made mistakes there's plenty more to come

Live for now and plan for tomorrow

As living in you're past is the quickest route to sorrow

I've always loved heignsight but would hate to predict the future

Because an integral part of life is that it takes some getting used to

These words don't need ink they only need heart

The ink is where they finish the heart is where they last

To you I may sound odd potentially absurd

But when you find your heart you'll find meaning in these words

This is lyrical guidance not a lyrical attack

I'm just offering a mirror to see the knives that taunt your back

A temporary Sheild against those words that cut so deep

A better understanding of the fears that haunt your sleep.

Whilst your sitting there contemplating each one of my rhymes

Debating in your mind if this is good advice,

I'm writing learning and moving with the times

And if you choose to.doubt then read this over twice

When you understand the message that I'm trying to send

When you feel pain caught up.in it please know it's not pretend

I've had times when I've felt like all of these

And the pain only stopped when it was me I tried to please

Live your life for others

But always keep.track of you

And leave a peice behind in everything you do

Because along the way if you find yourself hurt,

Those pieces of you will show you their true worth

Surround yourself with friends and leave your enemies to their fate

Because you get more out of life with love than you dowith hate

This is lyrical guidance not a lyrical attack

I'm just offering a mirror to see the knives that taunt your back

A temporary Sheild against those words that cut so deep

A better understanding of the fears that haunt your sleep.
