These are the ten books that have affected me throughout my life. They have all brought about a change in my life, small or large, and they are all held dearly in my heart.

Ten Books That Changed My Life

by ivoryannalise

1. The BFG by Roald Dahl

This book was read to me the year I started writing. I like to think it inspired me to pick up that pencil, and create my own worlds.

2. Brightly Woven by Alexandra Bracken

This was the first book that I actually got to meet the author and have her sign it. It was so much fun, and she was super nice!

3. Shadow and Bone by Leigh Bardugo

This book has inspired a fan fiction, which I have used to hone and improve my writing skills. And I just found out that I get to meet her!

4. The Little House Series by Laura Ingalls Wilder

This book series was one of the first books I ever fell in love with. It introduced me to the world of literature, and has make me call in love with the Historical fiction genre.

5. The Dark Divine Trilogy by Bree Despain

This series was the first Young Adult supernatural series I read. It has made me thoroughly addicted to the genre.

6. Peter Pan by J. M. Barrie

I am currently working on a story inspired by this tale. It has become the first book that I have ever came close to finishing!

The next four books are found on Wattpad.

These four have had such a great impact as a writer on any website. They have truly inspired me to go for gold.

7. Little Shy Ariel by Bel Watson (@BelWatson)

This story made me realize that maybe, just maybe, I may have Social Anxiety. I'm still not sure, but this sweet book made me realize that it was a real thing.

8. Wicked (Book One of The Cursed Chronicles by...

Brittany Hawes (@madame_bootsie) This book has helped me bond with the author over our love for fairytales.

9. The Mermaid Bride by J. M. Butler (@JessicaBFry)

This book made me realize that the writer behind the words is actually just a normal person just like me or you. Before, they used to be someone who was untouchable to me.

10. The Book of Lost Stories by Ezmar Albright (@EA3112)

This story has helped me make two lasting friendships with some of the nicest girls I have ever met! I really don't know where I would be without them.
